As a child, I never thought that the bulb was ‘invented’ as such. As we get the sun’s light, so we got a bulb’s light at night. It was pretty simple. Well, not unless Thomas Edison made it so. Founder of the electric bulb, he revolutionized the way people lived; as now, darkness was at their feet and in their command. Electrical training and electrical courses as a whole were given their boost of energy with this super vital invention. However early the inventions and research might have started, electrical course in engineering was not recognised up until the late nineteenth century.
